Flowers blooming - spring is really here now

The warm spring weather has taken hold here in Raleigh, and all kinds of flowers are beginning to appear, from wildflowers to cultivated garden patches. I took a quick walk this morning and tried to catch some of the contrast between buds just opening and blossoms at their peak.

I'll let them do the talking.

    thanks for showing us flowers that are blooming much sooner than the ones in new york! We can look forward to some of these soon, however!
