Some small mammals, as well as lots of birds, have been braving the cold, looking for food.
Two paths diverged in the snow, and I…I lost them both when they disappeared into the Liriope muscari (lily turf).

ReplyDeleteSomeone posted on my Facebook page that it could be an oatmeal raisin cookie. I like to sometimes create ambiguous images, particularly when the scale is not definite.
DeleteAs for following both paths, I could never keep up with those little critters. Of course I was lamely alluding to Frost, as you realized…frost, hah…but seriously, The Road Not Taken was one of those things we studied in what would now be called middle school. Unlike many other poems, it held a lot of meaning for me even then, and stayed with me.
