Autumn's last blast

This morning I got a few iPhone pics of the remaining fall colors, as I walked Ziva along a wooded path.  No dog pictures today - I have to give it a day's rest so that some of you will want to see her on the morrow (how's that for a quaint old phrase)!

      That looks like a larger dog, with some similar coloring but not much else in common. However, it's good to be reminded of how heroically some dogs have served human causes. Thank you.
