Sylvan Heights Bird Park, Part Five

And finally, the last set of photos from my first visit to Sylvan Heights Bird Park near Scotland Neck, North Carolina.

The peacocks displayed for the peahens.

Shake-it-a-baby-now, twist and shout!

This little owl displayed the eyes that help make him such an effective predator at night.

Many birds have red eyes, but when they're surrounded by black and blue feathers, they are really special. Pretty impressive crown, too.

Bye!
