Still Autumn

Okay, it may be December, but it's still definitely fall in Raleigh, not winter!  Here's proof, shot this morning, right after the "mammalian" tree relic that I posted earlier.

    How strange and gorgeous! Looks a bit like it is laden with snow but definitely has an autumn wheat appearance, too. What a fine specimen.
